53 Dune Lane ~ N. Forest Beach

This classic Oceanfront beach home has one of the most spectacular settings that you will find. Sweeping oceanfront views are enhanced by the impeccably landscaped grounds complete with flowering plants and charming accents with plenty of places to enjoy the view ï¿½ from the porch swing to the Adirondack chairs and poolside loungers. The large sunny swimming pool (can be heated for an additional charge) and outdoor spa over look the pristine beach.

The two-story layout and design is steeped in Southern charm, comfortable furnishings and thoughtful amenities to make your vacation relaxing and enjoyable. There is a living area on each level with flat screen TVs and comfortable furnishings. The upstairs living is extended with a sunroom that maximizes the spectacular oceanfront view and provides additional living space. The full size kitchen is located on the 2nd floor and a smaller kitchenette with refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher is on the first floor, which is perfect for preparing poolside meals.

Three bedrooms are located on the second floor, including the master suite with king bed and full bath (walk-in shower). Before entering the master suite, guests will pass through a smaller bedroom with daybed and trundle, which make the two bedrooms ideal for a small family. Guests in the room with daybed/trundle can use the master bathroom or the nearby hall bath with tub/shower combination. The 3rd bedroom on the 2nd floor features 2 twin beds and a full bath (walk-in shower).

Bedrooms on the first floor include a king suite with full bath (shower/tub combination) and a guest bedroom with a set of bunk beds and king bed with a full bath (walk-in shower) and laundry room.

53 Dune Lane is convenient to Coligny Plaza with shops, restaurants and activities as well as miles of gorgeous beaches and paths perfect for biking. Complimentary tennis is available at the VanDerMeer Tennis Center in South Forest Beach.

We enjoyed our 3rd stay at 53 Dune Ln and plan to rebook for Summer '25. Wish the glass porch was just a screen porch, but there are other great benefits to this house. Thanks for checking in with us and being easy to deal with.

The location was outstanding-a very short walk to the beach. We enjoyed the pool. The home’s living area was spacious. There was plenty of room for seating for dining. The kitchen was a little small for the size of the house. Overall, the house met our needs.

Our stay at 53 Dune Lane was absolutely wonderful! This was our 2nd stay, and we are planning on re-booking for 2024. DVHHI is great to work with and called to check on how everything was going during the week, as well as coming out to fix the issue with the Keurig. Excellent response and a great rental company.

My family and I enjoyed staying at 53 Dune Lane. It worked out perfectly. The bedroom setup with extra beds in 2 of the rooms, allowed the families with small children to be able to all sleep together. The pool setup was also amazing . People could swim or sit in the shade under the covered area that contained tables and a swing, which allowed everyone to hang out together. We hope to be able to return next year.

Wonderful home and great booking experience. The home was absolutely perfect for my family and their kids. Everything we needed was there and then some. The location next to the beach was wonderful. Our only disappointment was the spa. It was built to be shallow and even if the water level was all the ay up it barely covered your stomach while seated. However, for some reason when you ran the spa heat the water level dropped to barely above the seats. Otherwise the entire family was thrilled with the house and the location. Thanks again!

We love 53 Dune Lane and have stayed a number of times. It's at a great spot, close to coligny, but not too close but easy to walk to. I will say while the space is perfect and always clean, but wonder if it will be updated at some point. We also appreciate your services, your staff is amazing!

This was our 1st year booking our beach house through Destination Vacation and we could not have been more pleased! The house at 53 Dune Lane exceeded our expectations, check-in was easy, and communication was excellent. We needed help changing out a gas tank for the grill and when I called the office, someone was there within an hour to change it out for us. We also were provided with plenty of extra towels and paper supplies- much appreciated!! The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, and you can tell that the owners take a lot of pride in making the house feel like a home and not just a rental. We are beyond thankful for the price point of this home being in our "reasonable range". This was the number 1 factor in our re-booking before we even left the island. We love Hilton Head and are excitedly looking forward to our return in 2023! Thank you Destination Vacation!

Destination Vacation made the entire process of renting this beautiful home easy and smooth from beginning to end. This home is perfectly located. The ocean view is breath taking and it is in walking distance to Colingy Plaza. The home is comfortable and easily accommodated our party of 12. We did need to purchase our own beach equipment which was the only drawback but since it was not listed as a provided amenity we expected that. Having a few chairs to take down to the spectacular private beach would be my only suggestion. Everything else was absolutely fabulous!

The team at Destination Vacations always provides friendly, top notch service from the reservation process to heating the pool. Dune Lane was a lovely home in a great location with a magnificent view! We had plenty of room for our large family as we celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday. A suggestion for improving the unit: evaluate the bunk beds downstairs. They were "shaky" and "squeaky." Thank you for a delightful experience!

Our house was ready and clean and we didn’t encounter any issues at 53 Dune Lane. My only suggestion would be to clean the windows and the pool more often. Not sure if the pool filter was operating correctly or if it was stuff dropping in from the tree. Lots of towels and everything we needed though. We love this home! It is relaxed but beautiful. Lots of space to spread out, everything we needed, stunning views. Walk right out to the non crowded beach, own pool, porch swing, covered area, private backyard, beach and pool toys, chairs. Location is perfect. This is probably our fifth year there. Loved the updated flooring on the lower level. We had an amazing stay. Thank you so much!!! We adore your beautiful island and this home! Already signed for same week next year!!!!

The woman I spoke with on the phone about whether HHI was "open" or not was so friendly and welcoming. She made me feel like HHI wanted my family there and it was very inviting. The location of Beach Heaven was perfect - close enough to walk to Coligny and get around by bike but far enough from the public beach that it was not crowded. We first stayed at Beach Heaven 19 years ago and have stayed there many times since. We love the cozy, at-home feel to it and the way Mrs. Lee adds her personal touches. The pool was a wonderful size for our family and the home nicely-sized and at a reasonable rental fee. The bunk beds in the downstairs bedroom could use stabilization - our teen girls noted that when one person moved, the entire bed frame moved and squeaked. The little soaps in the bathrooms are wonderful and the roll of garbage bags was generous. We could definitely have used more dishwasher detergent, however. Thank you for a lovely stay!!
