2 Dinghy Lane in Palmetto Dunes is a guest-favorite with beautifully landscaped pool area and multiple furnished decks, including a screened-in porch, perfect for relaxing, sunning or dining. With 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths, this Lowcountry home has interior updates throughout and plenty of room to spread out and relax as it accommodates up to 12 guests.

Upon entering the home, you are greeted by a formal dining room and open great room, which doubles as a living room and a den. The great room is the focal point of the first floor with high ceilings, views of the backyard and pool and furnishings for two unique areas within the room. One half is the living room with large sectional couch and huge flat screen TV, and the other half is a den with sofa, chairs and TV. The screened-in porch is accessible from the den and the open and updated kitchen is also nearby. The kitchen features a large center island with granite countertop, gas range and top-end appliances. The breakfast table seats 6 guests and the dining room is accessible through the nearby archway with additional seating. The first floor also features a powder room to serve the common areas and a full laundry room with washer, dryer, sink and counterspace.

The first floor bedrooms include a master suite with King bed and separate reading area with desk and chair, and an en-suite bath with double vanity, separate tub and walk-in shower. The king suite is a guest bedroom that can serve as a second master suite with king bed, TV and en-suite bath with double vanity and walk-in shower. The bunk bedroom suite features a set of bunk beds with twin mattresses, a queen bed and a full bathroom with double vanity and shower/tub combination. This bedroom is so versatile, it can accommodate up to 4 kids or it could even serve as a room for a couple if they just used the queen bed. The fourth bedroom is also very versatile with 2 queen beds and a full bath with shower/tub combination. Two queen beds offer so many possibilities for 2-4 guests, and this bedroom is located above the garage so there are stairs within the home from the main level to this bedroom level.

The screened-in porch features a dining table and chairs and a separate living area with sofa and chairs. The porch looks out over the pool and the outdoor space also includes a deck with chaise lounge chairs and a fully furnished pool deck with chairs, lounge chairs and umbrella. The pool can be heated for an additional fee, and there is a dedicated brick path that leads from the pool area to the paved beach path. The beach is only a short walk from this home (~500 feet) and includes the most beautiful stretch of Hilton Head Island beach along the Atlantic Ocean. Depending on the tides, ocean waves can be heard from the pool deck and screened porch since the home is so close to the beach!

The prime location in Palmetto Dunes gives guests access to miles of the finest stretch of beach on the Island, 11-mile lagoon system that can be navigated by canoe or kayak, championship golf courses and world-class tennis center. In addition, miles of bike paths and leisure trails are just steps away and lead to activities, restaurants, Shelter Cove Marina and shopping.

This truly was the perfect vacation!! Dean was an absolute professional and made sure everything was perfect. I’ve never had such great customer service!! 2 Dinghy Place is a beautiful house with just steps to the beach. There was 10 of us under one roof with plenty of room to spare. The neighborhood was gorgeous!! My 5 children, wife and I voted it our best vacation ever.

2 Dinghy Lane was an amazing house for our family vacation! It had everything we needed and more! Destination Vacation is truly vested in making sure your vacation accommodations are great. They even called to make sure our stay was going well while we were there! We have booked through another major HHI rental company in previous years, but Destination Vacation is superior by far!

We have been coming to Hilton Head for over 40yrs and usually stay in Sea Pines. This was the second time we stayed in Palmetto Dunes & we enjoyed the quieter pace & less crowded beach. Our home was beautiful and accommodating with just a short walk to the beach. Destination Vacation was very easy to work with and when we needed a new pool net, a representative came out within the hour with a new one. We had a great time!
