Located in the desirable South Beach area of Sea Pines with breathtaking views of a protected wildlife sanctuary sits 56 S. Sea Pines Drive. This spectacular home will appeal to the discriminating renter who seeks luxurious appointments in every room. Completely renovated and designed with careful attention to detail, this stunning vacation home seamlessly blends common areas with privacy so those on vacation enjoy the best of both worlds.

This home is well-appointed for relaxed, yet refined living with an updated kitchen, modern furnishings throughout, contemporary bathrooms, screened porch and private swimming pool and spa. The pool and spa can be heated together for an additional fee depending on the time of year. The beach is a short walk from the front door, and the central location makes it easy to enjoy all of the amenities and activities in Sea Pines Resort.

The single-level layout includes a Master suite with king bed, mounted flat screen TV and upgraded bath with separate sinks and large walk-in shower. A guest suite with a king bed and mounted flat screen TV features a modern bath with shower/tub combination, and the third suite also features a king bed with modern bath and walk-in shower. The bedroom TVs do not have cable TV but they feature smart apps and Netflix if you have your own account. Please note, in 2025 a private den with high quality queen sleeper sofa will be added to this home, increasing sleeping capacity to 8 guests. Guests in private den will use hallway powder room or one of the bedroom full baths.

The common areas of 56 S. Sea Pines Dr. include an open living room with scenic lagoon views, mounted HDTV and adjacent dining area, perfect for social gatherings. A separate den with mounted HDTV is located off the living room and features privacy doors, if needed. A half bath is located in the hallway to serve the den and common areas, and both TVs in the living room and den offer cable TV and smart apps.

The living room and dining room flow seamlessly to the modern kitchen with center seating area, stainless appliances, upgraded cabinetry and countertops and desk with built-in TV. An outdoor grill area and screened porch are located off the kitchen and dining areas. A separate laundry room with full-size washer and dryer is available for guest use, as is the garage for bicycle and golf club storage.

Newly resurfaced in 2023, the private pool area is a vacation paradise! The screened porch is comfortably furnished and includes a mounted flat screen TV and gorgeous lagoon views, and the pool provides countless hours of recreation and relaxation whether you are swimming or sunning. Pool and spa heat are available for an additional fee depending on time of year. Spa is available for use when the pool is heated but cannot be used independently without pool heat.

Sea Pines is a world-class vacation resort with pristine beaches, miles of biking trails, Lawton Stables with live petting zoo, public golf courses, including Harbour Town Golf Links, Racquet Clubs, shopping, restaurants and fully operational marinas in Harbour Town and South Beach with water sports, fishing charters and live entertainment. Most Sea Pines amenities are open to the public, but some may have parking fees or seasonal rates as determined by the resort. This was the perfect house for the four of us. We loved that each of our adult children had their own bedroom with a king size bed and a full bathroom. Loved the pool and lagoon. We were constantly looking out the huge windows for alligators, turtles & birds. Only things we “missed” were a full length mirror and an additional fan. Since there were no ceiling fans it would have been nice to have a fan in each room. There were only two fans in the house so one room was always without.

This was our second stay at this house and we will be back again next year. We love the updated modern decor, open floor plan with plenty of windows and one story living. The location suited us perfectly with a short walk or bike ride to the beach, South Beach or Harbourtown, The view of the lagoon wildlife kept us entertained . I used the sunroom as my painting studio and had plenty of scenes to capture . Weather was better than expected for the month of February. We took advantage of the tennis programs at the Sea Pines Racquet Club almost every day and sat by the pool on sunny afternoons. Any issue we had with the house was quickly resolved . Gail was especially helpful when the key pad code wasn’t working and we were locked out after business hours and Dean solved all of our technology issues with the TV’s. The kitchen had all that we needed . A suggestion for an upgrade would be to replace the counter stools. They are too low for the counter height and very uncomfortable. Since our visit was for a month we found that the master bath vanity just didn't have enough space for our toiletries, cosmetics, hair products and towels. More towel rods and a robe hook would be appreciated . The bath fan isn't strong enough to clean the fog from the mirror. All in all we love Sea Pines and are very comfortable in this house.

Destination Vacation found for me exactly what I needed in a rental home. All the questions I had were answered in a friendly and very quick way. I really loved the home we rented. It was in a perfect location for us and looked out over a pond with birds coming and going at all times. We had a minor problem with a shower drain, and I reported it to Destination Vacation right away. They sent someone to repair it within an hour and it took the plumber a very short time to repair it, and he checked all of the other drains before leaving. I could not have been happier with Destination Vacation service or with the house itself. The one change I would suggest is adding a full length mirror, perhaps on the back of one of the doors. It was extremely easy to book with Destination Vacation online. I always found someone available to answer questions I had about the home and location. I appreciated someone calling us after arrival to make sure all was okay. We did enjoy the location! Loved the pond behind the house with the birds, deer, turtles, and gator. Very quiet location even being on S Sea Pines and construction two doors down. Easy walk to the beach! We rode bikes everywhere! Easy ride to South Beach and we made 3 trips to Harbor Town. Loved the house! The bedrooms and bathrooms were great. Our friends said they hadn’t slept that well in a long time. We really didn’t take advantage of all that the house had to offer as far as the televisions, sound systems, electronics because we are more outdoor people. Our granddaughter loved the pool but she said she would have preferred it not heated. One negative comment I have is about the chairs around the kitchen counter. They were not standard height so it was extremely hard to eat at the counter and they were very uncomfortable on your legs. The chairs around the dining table were also uncomfortable on the back of the legs. It would have been nice to have a comfortable chair at the desk. We stayed at 56 South Sea Pines this past week. The house was great! Modern, all the bells and whistles you could ask for. Great for entertaining....both inside and out by the heated pool. Easy walk or bike ride to South Beach. Could have asked for a better experience! Destination Vacation HHI were great to work with. Even got some golf discounts!

We vacationed at 56 S. Sea Pines Drive. Loved the home at 56 S. Sea Pines Drive. Glad we paid extra to heat the pool and hot tub. Great location with short walk to the beach. Well stocked kitchen. Great pond view of wildlife. Egrets dipping their feet in the water and feeding on bugs was fun to see. One morning we had a great heron sitting on the edge of the hot tub. Another morning a deer was walking along the hedge right next to the pool. Nice to have the garage to use for parking and to store golf clubs and bikes. We will look to rent this property again. Great week! (So thankful Hilton Head does not allow political signs or flags. Wonderfully relaxing to escape the craziness for the week.)

This year we stayed 2 weeks in Sea Pines, first in a condo and then in a house ... only because I booked late and couldn't find something available for both weeks. Destination Vacation helped us by getting into our second week house early , huge help ... thank you sooo much. We loved both the condo at south beach and the house at 56 S. Sea Pines Dr.... both were bigger/nicer than we even thought ... great locations where we love to be down at south end. This was our 5th time to Sea Pines , each time the whole family loves it ... this year two other families met us for the second week ... they too loved it! We did bike riding of course, and this year road wave runners and rented a boat, both were great. I found most people and especially the businesses were careful and took precautions for the virus from what I could tell.
